Liberty is a new character introduced in Paw Patrol: The Movie. She's a big city dog, street wise and independant. I enjoyed working on this sequence- As the sun rises, a beam of light illuminates a newspaper in the alley where Liberty is sleeping. We see her stretch and get ready to greet the new day. I originally boarded this moment to include her washing up in a puddle. She does a little gargle and spit. I'm pretty sure the spit is not in the final film. 😊
Liberty uses a beat up old wagon to get around town. She heads over to visit Tony, the green grocer who she mooches breakfast from. This little pup knows how to make her own way in the big world!
Note: Liberty was originally named Rosie- that's the way I wrote her in this early version of the board. The panels are untimed: a half second each for pace, and not adjusted for action and dialogue.
